Lance Falow, Managing Director, has a long history working with the acquisition of loan assets and tax liens with a strategic focus on foreclosures and foreclosure related matters.  Lance currently oversees all “Hard Money” loan origination for AJ Partners Lending and works very closely with borrowers in helping them through the necessary, complicated and often confusing process of obtaining title clearance which is a prerequisite for the closing on any property purchase.  Prior to joining AJ Partners Lending, Mr. Falow spent many years working as both a principal and an attorney on the acquisition, working out and ultimate monetization of small balance distressed assets.  Lance began his career by working on conveyancing and foreclosure matters as an attorney.  Lance holds a degree from SUNY-Binghamton and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.

Russell Fridman, Managing Director, is responsible for a large part of the “Hard Money” loan origination underwriting process in determining whether or not to finance a given transaction.  Mr. Fridman meets with each and every borrower personally and evaluates the “credit” risk of the borrower and the transaction based upon various criteria.  Part of this evaluation always includes a visit not just to the property itself, but to evaluate the surrounding neighborhood in general.  In addition, Russell overseas and advises on all construction work undertaken by borrowers to ensure both loan compliance as well as to assist borrowers in making sure that their construction projects “make sense”.   Prior to forming AJ Partners Lending, Russell spent the past 15 years acquiring, managing and ultimately disposing of multi-family properties in Manhattan.   Russell graduated from Bucknell University with a B.A. in Economics and Psychology and holds a JD from The University of Maryland School of Law.

Gary Budoff, Managing Director is responsible for much of the day-to-day operations of AJ Partners Lending including working directly with prospective borrowers on new loan origination, underwriting review, compliance oversight, loan closings and loan servicing.  He also oversees the process of providing commitment letters for the company and is responsible for handling loan modifications/stipulations and loan payoffs.  Prior to forming AJ Partners Lending, Mr. Budoff previous worked for 7 years in the acquisition, management and monetization of retail shopping centers along the eastern seaboard.  Mr. Budoff began his career in the investment banking division of Bear Stearns & Co. where Mr. Budoff spent 6 years working as an investment banker focusing on M&A, leveraged finance and real estate finance.  Gary holds a B.A. in Political Science from Duke University and a J.D./MBA from New York University School of Law  and the Stearns School of Business, respectively.
